Guy Boothby (1867 – 1905), australiensisk författare. Nu för tiden är han mest känd för böckerna om Doktor Nikola, men han var på sin tid en produktiv författare av det som idag skulle kallas romantiska thrillers.

Doktor Nikola

Boothbys mest kända skapelse är den mystiske Doktor Nikola. Doktorn förekommer i fem böcker, men det är egentligen bara tre som har honom som huvudperson. I bok ett och tre är han den då och då uppdykande skurken, medan han i bok två, fyra och fem har en slags antihjälte-roll.

Den tredje boken finns av någon anledning inte i svensk översättning. De engelska titlarna är:
